Did you know that the earth moves around the sun?

like you or me probably knows the earth rotates, revolves around the sun. but back in the day everybody thought that the earth was at the centre of the the universe. yes you heard they thought the earth was at the centre of everything. but then copernicus came up with a theory that the earth went around the sun and so did the other planets. he later on dropped the idea cuase as much of a good scientist he was he was still very religiously at heart. cause back in the renisance the catholic church believed that the earth was at the centre. and anybody that opposed that would be charged with heresy. can you imagine being accused of being right?
